This is seriously the first pic of Raahn I've drawn since getting my laptop. o_0 Kinda weird considering he's one of my favorite chars...

Anyways, this is pretty much Raahn's spikes first sprouting out of his back. I figured I'd have them come out when he reaches manhood cuz childbirth would be pretty nasty for his mom if he always had them. XD So Raahn's about six in this pic (18 in Raahn years, he grows three times faster than normal people.). The poison glands in the spikes will develop a little later on, as well as their ability to stick straight out. They just look straight right now because they're coming out, but they're pretty limp most of the time. They only stick straight out when he's angry or threatened.

Just for the record, the barbs on his tail also grow sometime after his birth.

I think his may be the best shading I've ever done. ^o^ Pay no attention to the background that's not where the light is coming from. XD His right wing took forever to shade. But I'm glad I did cuz you can tell the angle of the wing so much better now.
