Just trying out a different kind of shading. It's not entirely accurate so I'm not gonna keep using it, but it's still cute for this pic.

Willie's just getting ready to take a nap. He has a hammock up in Phoenix's masts where he can fall asleep watching the stars. It's a little thin, but don't worry, Phoenix won't let him fall.

In fact, I drew this mostly to try and draw them sharing a special bond. Willie and Phoenix are very close and protective over each other. Willie feels safe and at home with her and she generally keeps intruders off so he can be safe.
