Preparing

Ya know, I thought of some funny dialogue for this earlier and now I can't remember it.

Anyway, I don't know how many of you have heard of IPRED or any of those other collections of letters that have been trying to screw with the internet, but if they get passed we can't draw fan art. Which means depending on how strict they are about the copyright issues I may not be able to draw any of my characters unless I redesign them. Willie wound up looking so much like Willy Wonka, people keep telling me how much Neshae looks like Danny Phantom, and as for Nathyn, I may just be paranoid, but smurfs have blue skin. Unfortunately now he's in danger of getting eaten by the purple people eater. XD

So I gave Willie a new suit color. I kept some of the purple, but I think the teal looks good for the rest of it. I gave Neshae a slight hairstyle tweak. I just made that enormous lock of hair in the front longer and skinnier. I tried to keep it as close to the old one as possible without looking too much like Danny Phantom. And Nathyn just got a skin color tweak. I tried to keep it mostly blue, but not so blue that I could get in trouble for making it too much like the smurfs.

If all hell should break loose I'm obviously going to have to delete a lot of my deviations. But some of them I'm just going to edit so that the characters look like this.

I'm thinking I'm going to change Willie's color scheme regardless anyway. I've been kind of tempted to make Voyages of Memorna a graphic novel instead of a book. Willie just has way too much in common with Willy Wonka, general color scheme, similar name, etc. Heck, that's probably who the guy in my dream really was. XD I could probably get by with the teal colors.
